Scarfs are one of my favorites during the fall and winter! There are so many ways to wear a scarf there are no rules, and so many options. But today I picked my top four favorites that I use all the time. They are so easy and I love changing it up sometimes!
1. the first one is called the slip knot. instead of giving a tutorial I thought it would be easier giving you the steps, because each example is just that easy. step one; fold the scarf in half. step two; wrap the scarf around the back of your back. step three; pull both ends of the scarf through the loop. step four; adjust the scarf so it feels comfortable. step five; leave the knot close to your neck, or you can pull it away for a loser fit.
2. the second example is called the four-in-hand. this is one of my all time favorite because it looks so cute and complicated but its really simple, anyone can do it. step one; fold the scarf in half and place it on the back of your neck with a loop on the side. step two; pull one of the ends through the loop. step three; twist the loop. step four; pull the other end of the scarf through the loop. step five; now just adjust the knot so that it fits perfectly and feels comfy.
3. the third one is the easiest of them all. its called the simple knot ends. I love this look because its so casual and gives it the cute effortless style. step one; take the end of your scarf and tie a knot at one end. step two; do the same thing to the other end, and just let both ends hang.
4. the last one is the one I wear the most and keeps me the warmest! this one is called the loose wrap. step one; put the scarf around your neck with the ends hanging in front. step two; wrap around one end over your neck so that it comes back hanging in front. step three; loosen the knot so that is becomes loose and so it flows.

Oh your so welcome, I had to much putting it all together. :)
DeleteGreat ideas! I wear scarves basically every day in the winter, and am always trying new knots :) It's fun! You can do so much with a simple scarf.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I do the loose wrap all the time! I also sometimes pin the ends together to make it a tube scarf and then loop it once. Love your style!!
ReplyDeletelove all the scarf ideas! I always do the loose wrap one, it always looks good. I can't get some of the other styles right sometimes lol.

Cool idea for a post! Scarves are so much fun to wear, but most of the time, I don't get creative with how I tie them.
ReplyDelete#3 is literally the simplest idea ever, but it's a cool idea, and I'm going to give that a try!
