Blessed to Have You as a Mom

My mom is such a blessing in my life! I am so thankful for our close relationship. I love being able to talk with my mom about anything. No matter what it is I know that she will always be there for me. Just the other night I was able to spend the afternoon alone with her...at Starbucks and have a nice dinner together! I am always looking forward to our special "date nights." I don't know what I would do if my mom wasn't apart of my life. It makes me so sad when I see or know girls who don't have a relationship with their mom! Because a mom is able to help you through certain situations or can give you advise about certain things. It is so comforting to know that when I'm going through hard times my mom is there to pray for me...& encourage me along the way. There is a special bond between a daughter and a mom that you can't find through any friend. A friend might know you really well...but not as well as your mom will. Because they don't know your heart like your mom does. I am so thankful that my mom and I both treasure our relationship. And as the years pass I pray that our relationship will only become stronger. Love you mom, and thank you for always being there for me.

Vegetable Garden

This week I visited my grandparents, and they have a vegetable garden! We were able to collect lots of veggies. It's so much fun picking all the food yourself. And the vegetables taste incredible when they are homegrown. Here are some photos of the vegetables I gathered. :)

 

Fall Inspiration

Fall is my favorite season. I love all the colors of the leafs, the cooler weather, hot chocolate, and reading a wonderful book while sitting by the fire. I also like the fashion of fall. Scarfs, jeans, sweatshirts, boots, hats, and gloves. My family and I are always taking walks around the lake, watching movies, and playing cards. This time of the year Is just so relaxing and peaceful. So this weekend my mom, sister, and I decorated the house and our pumpkins. It was so much fun. Every year we try to make It a tradition. This year instead of carving pumpkins...we had a better idea! My sister made hers like sparkles...(It reminds me of a Cinderella pumpkin), My mom painted a face on hers, and I put flowers all over my pumpkin! I always love trying new ideas. I'm so glad we were able to do this. :)

Lily

Hey everyone hope you've all had an amazing weekend. I thought I would share with you all my sweet Lily. She is my Maltese, two years old, and she only wietghs 5 lbs. When I was little I always wanted a little white puppy. It was a dream of mine to have a small puppy that I could pick up and cuddle with. So when I was thirteen years old my mom surprised me with her one night! I was so excited and happy. She was a dream come true. Lily is the sweetest, and most adorable dog ever. Sister's & Forever Friends

"Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there." ~Amy Li. Hannah is an amazing little sister! I am so thankful we both treasure our relationship. There is a special bond between sisters that you can't ever find in another close friend relationship. Hannah and I are eighteen months apart. We've always been super close growing up. I've noticed that the older we have gotten the closer we are. Even though there are days that we fight, and are upset with each other...I still love her so much. Even though I have many friends, no one could ever take away the friendship with my sister. I know that she will always be there for me, and I can always tell her anything.  So blessed to call her my best friend! Love you Hannah.
